On 13 June 2014 an agreement was signed between Nowa Szkoła and Polska Agencja Rozwoju Przedsiębiorczości (Polish Agency for Enterprise Development) to co-finance a CSR project.
The main aim of project is to regulate CSR activities at Nowa Szkoła. By following the CSR model, the company seeks to enhance its reputation of an entity responsible to society and friendly to clients, suppliers and the environment. It aspires to be recognized as a place where employees not only work but also realize values which they share. To appreciate our stakeholders – in the widest sense of all persons in contact with Nowa Szkoła – we wish to: prepare our own CSR strategy (July 2014), obtain at least 10 certificates for over 150 products of our own (January 2014 – December 2014), extend our website to include a CSR module (June 2014 – January 2015) , carry out an audit of production processes (August 2014) with the aim of increasing the efficiency of the machinery, reducing waste and engaging workers in co-management, publish a circular on CSR (October 2014), implement a CSR reporting system (December 2014), organize a conference to present and discuss the results of the project (January 2015).
The CSR project is expected to bring benefits such as: increased trust of clients and contractors, stronger market position, increase of staff satisfaction, reputation of a solid employer, more complex and methodical management of the special field of CSR.
The long-term objective is to improve business ratios thanks to increased employee engagement and productivity, waste reduction and implementation of audit recommendations.
